as the designated State Unit on Aging, is mandated to submit a “State Plan on Aging” to the U.S. Administration
on Aging. This plan describes the agency’s vision and purpose, including the goals and strategies to achieve
this vision. Development of this plan was accomplished through continuous collaborative interaction with the
state’s Aging Network, including the State Advisory Council, the Silver-Haired Legislature, the Area Agencies
on Aging, the Kansas Long-Term Care Ombudsman and other state divisions, and many of the seniors we
represent." |
