The 10-member group of KDWP employees was assembled this fall, and was charged with reviewing deerrelated statutes, regulations, permitting processes, and management programs. The task force was asked to recommend changes that would simplify deer-related state statutes and department regulations, maintain or improve hunting opportunities, and protect the deer resource.
