Description: "Information in support of the lifeline service program. Currently, low‐income phone service customers can enroll in a discounted phone service by providing their local phone service provider with proof that their income is below 150% of the federal poverty level. The customer must re‐certify their income annually. This bill requires that SRS provide a list of potentially eligible households to telephone service carriers every six months."
