Title: Parkinson seeks agricultural disaster designation for eight counties

Description: Governor Mark Parkinson sent a letter today to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack asking that he declare Chautauqua, Cherokee, Crawford, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery and Neosho counties agricultural disaster areas for crop production losses due to severe weather between September 1 and January 6.
