Description: The first home in Kansas to be weatherized thanks to funds from the Recovery Act saw the installation of new energyefficient appliances today. Wichitan Bernice Jones received a furnace, central air unit and refrigerator, which will help lower her utility costs as well as benefiting the environment. Renee McAnarney of Wichita will also benefit from weatherization program today, as inspectors gave her home an energy audit to determine where her family could better improve energy efficiency.
