KPERS Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, also known as the KPERS Annual Report, provides an overview of the activities of the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System for the fiscal year. It consists of several sections including:
- A financial section, which includes the Statement of Plan Net Assets as of the end of the fiscal year, and the Management’s Discussion
and Analysis (MD&A), an independent audit of the Retirement System.
- An investment section detailing the Retirement System’s investment portfolio
performance.
- Actuarial and statistical sections which describe the
System’s funding basis; actuarial assumptions; contributions and funded ratios; and tables and
several graphics concerning membership, benefits and other data.
