Description: Testimony in opposition to SB 372 as written, which would eliminate the 108-inch width restriction that applies to appurtenances attached to motor homes and travel trailers; however, KDOT would support the proposed legislation if amended to limit the maximum width of the appurtenances so that they may not extend beyond the rearview mirrors with the mirrors mounted in such a way as to provide the required field of view before the appurtenances are attached.
